New Murano Gallery is once more happy to award the athlets taking part to the International Rowing Challenge of Universities. The event created by Ca’ Foscari University of Venice takes place during the world-famous Regata Storica. The 2016 edition involved students from University of Bari, University of Padova, Universität Wien University of Warwick.
Art glass factory New Murano gallery shaped the white trophy made in authentic Murano glass that this year went to the athlets from University of Bari, who defeated their Venetian counterparts in a head-to-head race, after a twelve-year monopoly by Ca’ Foscari University of Venice.
The event is yet another demonstration of how firmly New Murano Gallery believes in genuine values such as sports, in youngsters showing their value through action, in meritocracy, as Managing Director Francesco Scarpa states in this interview.
