The Regata Storica is one of the most spectacular events that take place in Venice every year. The Venetian lagoon is the perfect scene of a unique sport that dates back to the 13th century and is famous today for the picturesque water parade that lights up people’s eyes before the races.
The most awaited of today’s four races is the “Campioni su Gondolini” ‘s one, where a group of small gondola-like sporting boats compete along the Grand Canal to the finishing line located right in front of the Ca’ Foscari palace.
New Murano Gallery is official sponsor of this year’s winning craft driven by legendary Vignotto cousins from Sant’Erasmo island in Venice.
